I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gite D'Etape Chez Francois in Conques, and I must say it exceeded my high expectations in every way. The warmth of François and his delightful dog created an inviting atmosphere, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room, complete with private bathroom, was not only spacious and comfortable but also soundproofed, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep amidst the beautiful surroundings. The highlight was undoubtedly the communal dinner enjoyed on the terrace, where we savoured delicious food while engaging with fellow walkers, truly capturing the essence of camaraderie that this charming gîte promotes.
